The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces Funeral Services for Mrs. Nina Mason Owenby of Covington, Georgia who passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at her home.

Nina leaves behind to cherish her memory: her children, Charles Stephen Owenby, Pamela Jeryn Forrest, Vicki Owenby Bailey, and Valerie Owenby Blankenship; her siblings, Flossie Lee Mason (Stebbins), Frankie Swanson (Mason), Austell Sithrona, Patricia Bowen, Ronald P. Mason, and Charles Jordan Mason. Also, sharing in her legacy are 8 grandchildren, Andrew Reed Middlebrooks, Alyssa Jeryn Forrest, Gary Taylor Owenby, Elizabeth Ashton Bailey, Alana Jeryn Bailey, Allen Reeves Blankenship, Emily Catherine Blankenship, Rebecca Lynne Blankenship and 1 great grandchild, Lyla Catherine Middlebrooks.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville with Rev. Jerry Young officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 12 pm until the service begins. She will be laid to rest at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery net to her husband, Charles Taylor Owenby.
