Mrs. Gay Arlene Jaslowski age 83 of Stacy Lane Blairsville passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday July 31, 2019 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Jaslowski was born on April 25, 1936 in Clewiston, FL., the daughter of the late Harry Swain Sr. and the late Jesse Mae Henderson Swain. Gay and her husband Andy raised miniature horses for many years. She was a loving and caring mother, sister and aunt. She also loved her dog Tuffy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Andy” Jaslowski in 2014 and also by a sister, Linda Swain. Gay was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving Mrs. Jaslowski are one daughter who she dearly cherished, Cheryl Jaslowski of Blairsville, two brothers and sisters in law, Harry and Loretta Swain of Land Of Lakes, FL., Jimmy and Nancy Swain of Savannah, GA., several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday August 3. 2019 at 11:00 am from the Meadow View Cemetery with Pastor Ray Potts officiating, where she will rest next to her beloved husband Andy. Flowers are accepted of if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Gay’s memory. The family will meet with friends following the services at the cemetery.
