Mrs. Margaret Louise Hufnagel age 94 of Charlie Corn Drive Young Harris passed away peacefully on Monday August 26, 2019 at her home under the care of Hospice with her loving daughter and cat, Lizzie, by her side. Mrs. Hufnagel was born on Nov. 5, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA., the daughter of the late Clarence Pennell and the late Elizabeth Bischoff Pennell. Margaret was an avid artist and loved doing paper toll. She loved the beach and gardening. She was a long-time secretary for Woodall’s Mobile Home Park in Lakeland, FL. She was a caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Hufnagel was a member of Sharp Memorial Methodist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Hufnagel are three daughters, Carol Desensi of Surprise, AZ., Sandra Hufnagel and her fiance’, David Meyer of Young Harris, Lori Hunter of Ormond Beach, FL., one son, Lawrence Hufnagel of Lakeland, FL., three grandchildren, Pam Konapasek of Pittsburgh, PA., Dawn Webb of Phoenix, AZ., Tawnya Sweeney of Pittsburgh, PA., ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 31, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Sharp Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Soulen officiating. Special music will be presented by Pam Leslie. Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Humane Society Mountain Shelter in Margret’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the church following the services.
