UNION COUNTY, Ga. – The precincts for Union County are now 100% reporting. The election results are as follows:

Sheriff – Shawn Dyer has won the election with. 69.79% of the vote. His opponents Tom Jones and Doug Loyd earned 8.23% and 21.98% of the vote respectively.

Sole Commissioner – Rep – Harold Collins won with 61.23% of the vote over his opponent, Patrice Kilpatrick.

County BOE District 1 – Janna Davenport Akins, the incumbent, won the seat over her opponent L. Paige Thornton, with 79.84% of the vote.

Other seats up for election in Union County ran unopposed.
