Mr. Howard Alan Grossman, age 72 of Blairsville, Georgia passed away on Monday October 5, 2015 at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, following an extended illness. Howard was born on April 16, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edward and Madeleine Grossman. He was preceded in death by a sister Suzan Landaeta. Howard is survived by his wife, Pat, daughters Melissa Grossman and Jennifer Grossman, son Michael Grossman and wife Lenka Grossman, brother Ronald Grossman and wife Marilynn Grossman, sister Janet Kleedorfer and husband William Kleedorfer, brother in law James Demitrus and wife Kathleen Demitrus, Many nieces and nephews also survive. Howard was beloved by both family and friends alike. He will be greatly missed for his warmth, as well as his caring and generosity, but especially for his wonderful sense of humor. A memorial service for Howard will be held at Mountain Presbyterian Church on Friday October 16, 2015 at 11 am with the Rev. Travis Adams officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mountain Presbyterian Church or Peachtree Christian Hospice in Howard’s honor.
