Mr. Randall Keith “Randy” Gilbert age 57 of Cedar Mtn. Trout Farm Rd. Blairsville passed away on Monday Feb. 1, 2016 in the Union General Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Gilbert was born on June 20, 1958 in Loanok, AR., the son of Agatha Faye Lowery Gilbert and the late James Richard Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert was a self-employed builder. He was a loving father, son and brother. Mr. Gilbert was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Victoria Gilbert of Blairsville, GA., his mother, Agatha Gilbert of Augusta, three children, Jessica Gilbert, of Woodstock, GA., Byron Gilbert of Augusta, GA., Veronika Crumpler, of Statham, GA., one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sheila Gilbert of Grovetown, GA, several other friends and family also survive. A memorial service for Mr. Gilbert will be held at 12:00 PM, on Sunday, February 6, 2016 from the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hubert Smith officiating.
