Mr. James “Jim” Hampton Veach: Obituary

Mr. James “Jim” Hampton Veach age 61 of Praise The Lord Lane Blairsville passed away on Sunday April 10, 2016 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness.
Mr. Veach was born on April 9, 1955 in Phoenix, AZ., the son of Jack Veach and Lenyne Herman Veach. Jim had made his home in Blairsville for the past eighteen years and had owned and operated a logistics transportation business for many years. Jim loved hunting, fishing, grilling, NASCAR and all sports. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by a grand daughter, Brianna. Jim was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving Mr. Veach are his loving wife and best friend of thirty three years, Sharon Worley Veach of Blairsville, his parents, Jack and Lenyne Veach of Phoenix, AZ., one daughter and son in law, Jody and Bryan Hann of Griffin, GA., one son and daughter in law, Dustin and Elaine Veach of Seattle, WA., one brother and sister in law, Jack and Jerri Veach of MN., one sister and brother in law, Julie Madison of MN., mother in law, Reba Charles of Blairsville, three grandchildren, Vaughn, Dylan and Brian, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 14, 2016 at 12:00 pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Harold Mull officiating. Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in Jim’s memory.
The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10-12;00 pm.
