Republican Women of Union County May Meeting –

The monthly meeting of the Republican Women of Union County was held at 1:00 pm on May 18, 2017 at Steve’s Steak House and Cookie Jar. Following the Invocation by Jean Holsapple, President Little asked everyone to join in the Pledge of Allegiance. Next, Little read the Treasurer’s Report. Members voted to make a donation to We Are Still Here, in behalf of the Republican Women of Union County. The Georgia Federation of Republican Women will hold a Summer Board Meeting on June 2, 2017 in conjunction with the Georgia GOP Convention, which will be held in Augusta, GA. All members were encouraged to attend this important event. The next meeting of the Republican Women of Union County will be held August 17, 2017 at 1 PM at Steve’s Steak House and Cookie Jar. The Republican Women of Union County meet the third Thursday of every month with exception of June and July when other Georgia GOP meetings are held. We welcome all interested Union County women to join us at our next meeting. The Republican Women of Union County are members of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women. The objectives of this organization are to promote an informed electorate through political education, to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation, to foster loyalty to the Republican Party, to promote its ideals, and to work for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees.
