Mrs. Barbara Reeves age 78 of Cumming formerly of Blairsville and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. passed away peacefully on Thursday June 15, 2017 in the Oaks At The Scenic View following an extended illness. Mrs. Reeves was born on August 5, 1938 in Queens, NY., the daughter of the late William Nesselt and the late Rose Hegeman Nesselt. Barbara had been employed with United Community Banks for several years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving Mrs. Reeves are her loving husband Wilbur Reeves of Cumming, GA., one daughter and son in law, Tara and Scott Sanderson of Cumming, two brothers and sisters in law, Robert and Maureen Nesselt, William and Nancy Nesselt all of Florida, three grandchildren, Aiden, Christopher and Cheyenne Sanderson, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Travis Adams officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Robert Nesselt, Christopher Sanderson, Shep Calhoun, Scott Sanderson and Junior Gaddis. Interment will follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-7:00 pm. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
