Mr. Richard Aschley (Bobby) Pearson, age 34, of Blairsville, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Pearson was born on December 7, 1982, in Bradenton FL, the son of the late Richard Pearson Sr. and Cheryle York Pearson. Richard loved spending time with his children. Richard loved to take his children camping, fishing, and swimming. Richard moved to the Blairsville area in 2005 from Murphy, NC. Richard was of the Christian Faith.

Surviving Mr. Pearson are his loving wife of ten years, Pam Pearson, of Blairsville, GA, sons, Jacob Pearson and Dawson Pearson of Blairsville, GA, sister and brother-in-law Tammy and Dean Smith of Murphy, NC, brother Joey Pearson of Murphy, NC, father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Nancy Carpenter of Blairsville GA, sister-in-law Carla Carpenter of Blairsville, GA, niece Angel Carlesco, nephews Matthew Pasley, Brent Carpenter, Bailey Carpenter, Brady Carpenter, and many other friends and relatives also survive.

A funeral service for Mr. Pearson will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 2:00PM in the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Rogers officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Joey Pearson, Matthew Posey, Dean Smith, Keith Prentice, Havern Mayfield, and Heath Mayfield. The following people will serve as honorary pallbearers, Angel Carlesco, Brent Carpenter, Bailey Carpenter, Brady Carpenter, Jacob Pearson, and Dawson Pearson. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 26, 2017 between 6:00PM and 9:00PM at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted for Mr. Pearson.
