Mrs. Nancy Jane Henderson age 73 of No Where Rd. Blairsville passed away peacefully on Saturday April 21, 2018 in the North East GA Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Henderson was born on May 30, 1944 in Murphy, NC., the daughter of the late Crede Reid and the late Mamie Floyd Reid. Before her retirement she had been a CNA for many years. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Henderson in 1977 and a brother Clyde Reid. Nancy was a member of the Fields of the Woods Church of God.

Surviving Mrs. Henderson are one son and daughter in law, Kevin and Angie Henderson of Blairsville, one daughter, Kelly Henderson of Blairsville, three brothers and sisters in law, Jack and Louise Reid of Hiawassee, Bill and Debbie Reid of Benton, TN., Louis and Kathy Reid of Murphy, four grandchildren, Jonas and Sherlann Henderson, Chloe Henderson, Cole Sparks,  Taylor and Rob Weeden, one great grandchild, Stella, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Monday April 23, 2018 at 11:00 am from the Mountain View Chapel with Rev. Rodney Campbell officiating. Special music will be presented by Melissa and Stephanie Reid                          . The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Jonas Henderson, Cole Sparks, Brian Reid, Eric Reid, Eli McClure and Joey Reid. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Chris and Adam Reid . Interment will follow in the Many Forks Baptist Church Cemetery where she will rest next to her beloved husband Benny. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-8:00 pm.
