Mr. Lonnie Lee Crumpton III age 40 of Juniper Lane Blairsville passed away peacefully on Sunday March 4, 2018 at his home following a brief illness. Mr. Crumpton was born on June 9, 1977 in Natchitoches, LA., the son of Lonnie Lee Crumpton Jr. and Lisa Rose Kestler Crumpton. Lee was a veteran of the US Navy. He graduated from Grand Forks ND. High School, a graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power training Command and a graduate of Louisania Technical University. He was also a Railroad Engineer with Union Pacific for over eight years. He was a loving son, brother cousin and nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lonnie and Shawnee Crumpton  Sr., Betty Mooty, cousins, Wesley Jordan and Tammy Smith. Lee was of the Christian faith.

Surviving Lee are his mother and stepfather, Lisa and Scott Leonard of Blairsville, his father and stepmother, Lonnie and Sandra Crumpton Jr. of St. Louis, MO., brothers and sister in law, Tyler and Tiffany Leonard, Michael Leonard, and one sister, Emi Leonard all of Blairsville, several aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm from the Meadow View Cemetery with the Rev. Pat Garrett officiating. The family will meet with friends following the services at the cemetery.
