UCS revises schools 2021-2022 calendar

BLAIRSVILLE, Ga – The Board of Education approved revisions to the 2021-2022 school calendar in the June 15 meeting.
The revisions designate six online learning days and add two student learning days for a total of 175 student days.
The first day of school is on August 12, 2021 and the last is May 20, 2022. The six online learning days fall on the first Friday of September, October, November, February, March, and April.

BLAIRSVILLE, Ga – Students will return for the 2021-2022 school year on Thursday, August 12 with pre-planning beginning on August 2.
The school year resembles any other year with Fall Break in October and Spring Break in April. The two days leading up to Thanksgiving break will be online learning days.
However, the administration is reserving the right to amend the calendar depending on potential COVID-19 outbreaks.
