BLAIRSVILLE, Ga – Many Independence Day festivities are returning to Union County in 2021 after COVID-19 resulted in a cancellation last year.
Those interested can start enjoying the long weekend on Friday with a courthouse concert. Don Byers will be performing, beginning at 7 p.m. Lucky’s Tacqueria just down from the square will also have live music from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on its back porch area.
The annual Lake Nottely Boat Parade will be held on Saturday, July 3. Boats can start lining up around 10:30 a.m. and the parade begins at 12. Parking in the marina is limited so carpooling is encouraged. David McMahon will be performing live too.
